Random photos of Vienna (Adox Silvermax and Exa IIb)

I took these photos in Vienna during my recent visit to Europe. It was not my first visit to Vienna, so it was a bit difficult for me to spot new things which I wanted to capture on film. So the images are pretty random. However, I used the opportunity to try the Adox Silvermax 100 film for the first time. The results look quite nice to me and I like the look of this film.

Camera: Exa IIb with Carl Zeiss Jena 50 mm f/2.8 (aka Zebra)

Film: Adox Silvermax 100 developed in Kodak D-76 for 6 min at 24°C

Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburg monarchs. Very nice palace with an impressively huge garden. After visiting the palace, I had the strange desire to watch the Sissi movies with Romy Schneider and Karlheinz Böhm.

Here I tried to capture the Hundertwasserhaus as a reflection in a puddle on the street. The house is quite colorful, so it was actually not a great idea to use black and white film for this.

Restroom designed by Hundertwasser. There was nothing horizontal or vertical in this room, except the pissoirs and sink.

The Wiener Riesenrad, a Ferries wheel, in the Prater amusement park. For me it is the iconic symbol of Vienna.

Some graffiti in the train station Wien Mitte. I am surprised that graffiti looks quite good in black and white.
