Häuser vor blauem Himmel – Blue Sky and Skyscrapers

Letzte Woche (10. und 11. Juli 2018) fegte Taifun Maria an Taiwan vorbei. Jedesmal bevor ein Taifun auf die Insel trifft oder knapp an ihr vorbeizieht, gibt es immer einen strahlend blauen und wolkenlosen Himmel. So einen Himmel sieht man in Taipei selten und für mich war es eine gute Gelegenheit etwas neues auszuprobieren. Schon seit längerem wollte ich Fotos von Gebäuden aus ungewöhnlicher Perspektive machen und sie etwas abstrakter darstellen. Der einheitlich blaue Himmel und das harte Licht waren dafür perfekt. Last week (10. and 11. July 2018) typhoon Maria hit the northern part of Taiwan. Every time a typhoon approaches the island, the sky becomes clear blue and without a single cloud. This kind of sky is quite rare in Taipei and it was a good opportunity to try something new. Since long time I wanted to take photographs of buildings from a different angle to present them in a different view. The uniform blue sky and harsh light were ideal for this.
